In a significant move to support the safety and security of the petroleum products’ transportation system, the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) has signed a strategic consulting contract with Total Energies Marketing Egypt. This partnership seeks to implement specialized consulting services aimed at improving safety and quality standards within the Oil & Gas sector in Egypt, under the initiative known as "Safety Development Project for Heavy Transport Management".
The signing ceremony was attended by the management from both companies, and TotalEnergies Marketing Egypt's safety team. This collaboration is aligned with a broader strategic vision to enhance the infrastructure of Egypt's petroleum transportation sector, aiming for greater efficiency and safety.
The project will begin in the Mostorod area, with plans for gradual expansion to encompass all transport and distribution companies across Egypt. It focuses on implementing a comprehensive system based on seven core pillars, including Management Commitment, Transport Management, HSEQ Management, Vehicle Management, Trip Management, Driver Management, and Contract Management.
